Constant regret, found the noose. Pour contentment, 80 proof.
Suffocating, spinning room. Found the butcher, and the gloom.
Watching, waiting, idle ghosts.
Sunken cars, one lamp post.
No one’s ever safe here, nothing is alive
Decrepit mansion, unholy throne
Thirsting dagger, the catacomb
Blood is getting older, carpet turning black.
Eyes are set to smolder, feeble bones crack.
Severed heads for every bed (2x)
Caught in a lasting inferno, carnage awaits.
Unknowing of the brutal sacrament.
The Locust doesn't feed, he relishes
The simple minds deceived, by fetishes
Running, empty halls
Crying pleas, through the walls
Baron of the caustic bog
No one’s ever safe here, nothing is alive
Nothing, nothing is alive
No one’s ever safe here, nothing is alive
Nothing, nothing is alive
Collapsing on an altar, the Summoning.
This primal ancient language, inscribing.
Angel of ruin consume, innocence entombed
Noxious fumes ensue, the noxious fumes
Watching, waiting
There is no escaping
Souls hang from the mask.

Even for this genre the sheer intensity of this album always manages to floor me. Might not be the most unique album under the sun but it doesn't have to be; the performances are tight and ferocious, the songwriting is dynamic and explosive, the production is crushing, it's just all things to a mathcore fan. napalmsatan

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
